Welcome to my blog from Patrick Wong (Vancouver,BC Canada)

This is my first blog I've ever made. Let me introduce briefly myself. My name is Patrick Wong. I am living in Vancouver,BC Canada. Beautiful British Columbia. I am working for a logistics company as Operation and sales Executive. I have been logistics business for more 15 years. This blog will be mainly focus how I feel about this business. I just want to share my thought about the industry. What kind of achievement and difficulty I have been facing. As stated I have been in logistics industry for more than 15 years. I found logistics industry is getting harder and harder to survive, especially in Vancouver where my homeland is. The problem is Vancouver is not Industrail city. We don't have many big industrial here. So import and export business is not as good as other big city in Canada. Such as Toronto. Fortunately, we are located on the Pacific Rim and at the western terminus of Canada's transcontinental highway and rail routes. The Port of Vancouver, Canada's largest and most diversified, does more than C$75 billion in trade with over 130 different economies annually. Port activities generate $10.5 billion in gross domestic product and $22 billion in economic output.[80] Vancouver is also the headquarters of forest product and mining companies. In recent years, Vancouver has become an increasingly important centre for software development, biotechnology and a vibrant film industry.
